AFFILIATES!

Bondi-Tunes is broadcast all over the earth, thanks to our affiliates, or "carriers" These are fantastic stations who run our two brands, Bondi-Tunes Music and Chat, and Bondi-Tunes Seventies PLUS. Without them, we would be talking to ourselves! We currently have an estimated audience of about 100,000 listeners across the globe. And it's all because of them! Here is a list of our friends across the world.

The concept for the Fish Pond Radio is a follow on project from an idea that was born out of pure frustration in the mid 90's. Back then there was a need to have a radio station that wasn't scared to play Christian Classics Hits like Michael W Smith And Kirk Franklin. The Australian radio landscape was a very non Christian Friendly area in the mid 90's and this meant it needed to be done in a very subtle way. Early efforts in this area were conducted under the name 95.7 Radio Rhema (with the efforts of a few mates) in 2001.

The Fish Pond Radio came along again in 2005 after rising from the ashes of a take over in the control of One Nation FM Ltd. It enjoyed a short life as an aspirant Community Broadcaster on the FM dial prior to 2001. This was discontinued due to not being given a fulltime community license.
